At the 1st European Regions Energy Day we spoke to Tanja Gonner, Minister of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport for Baden-Wurttemberg. She explained the actions of regions and why regions can have an impact in a ‘bottom up’ process.

Knud Andersen explains how a small island in Denmark, called Bornholm, can be an example to other European regions when it comes to switching to low carbon energy methods. The island has a population of around 40,000 and has been making progress towards energy efficiency for many years.
