Michèle Sabban – President of AER
Active in many associations, notably for the protection of Human Rights, she has for a long time been committed to the acknowledgement of the place of Women in the political arena.
Michèle Sabban is Vice-President of the Ile de France region since 1998 alongside with its President Jean-Paul Huchon.
President of AER since 2008, giving voice to Regions in the fight against climate change has been one of her top priorities.
She loves contemporary history, painting, her family and friends. She passionately loves public life and her battle for equality between men and women.
Responsible Energy for European Regions (R.E.F.E.R) is an initiative lead by the Assembly of European Regions and GE Energy, teaming up to confront climate change.
