The Spanish regional government of Extremadura and La Caixa have renewed an agreement for the conservation of protected natural areas in the region. This agreement will give priority to the employment of people at risk of social exclusion through improving natural areas and the preservation of biodiversity.
The renewal of this agreement will make a contribution of 500,000 euros, in addition to the one million euros from the previous. The new agreement will promote projects aimed at minimizing the effects of climate change and those in which renewable energies are used for execution.
