UK speeds up green energy support decision

UK Energy minister Charles Hendry said on Wednesday the government would put forward large-scale renewable energy support plans beyond 2013 in mid-July 2011, a year sooner than previously planned, easing investors’ concerns about returns on projects that require long construction times.
