New Swedish wind power production record

Sweden has for the first time produced three TWH of wind power energy over the last twelve months. This figure is equivalent to the power needs of 1.2 million Swedish households. Overall, the wind power production grew by 31%. Sweden is one of the countries with the best conditions in the world for wind power. Swedish industry association Windenergi said that “If a real political will was present, our yearly production could by ten times higher by 2020”.
