France, usually an electricity exporter, has been forced once again to import electricity on Wednesday following the decreased production, partly linked to the strikes.

On Tuesday, France made a historical import of 6,000 MH. 16 out of France’s 58 nuclear factories are now closed. In the factories that remained opened, workers have decided to lower the production. “The electricity workers have decided to join the strike by using their working tool” commented a union member.
